QU Earns No. 2 Seed in Upcoming MAAC Tournament

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Quinnipiac men's tennis wrapped up the regular season with a 4-3 win over Marist in Poughkeepsie on Sunday afternoon.

With the victory, the Bobcats have secured the title as MAAC Regular Season Tri-Champions. Siena, Quinnipiac and Fairfield all finished with a 4-2 league record, as all three earned a share of the regular season league title.

QU will be the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament.

The tandems of Shaurya Sood / Kemal Karagozoglu and Andreas Whalen-Merediz / Csanad Nyaradi secured the doubles point to start the match off.

The Bobcats won three singles matches for the victory. Shaurya Sood and Csanad Nyaradi each won in straight sets, while Donovan Brown staved off a comeback to win in three sets.
