No. 1 Bobcats Celebrate Cleary, Seniors in Win Over Brown

HAMDEN, Conn. — It was a night of celebrations at M&T Bank Arena, as the No. 1 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team knocked off Brown 5-2 to culminate its home regular season on the night it would celebrate its third consecutive Cleary Cup Championship, as well as its graduating senior class.
After Zach Metsa's opening goal was canceled out by a Brown equalizer, the Bobcats would rattle off four in a row, including two by first year Sam Lipkin to spark the offense.
Collin Graf added three assists on the night, while Skyler Brind'Amour added a goal and two assists to match Graf's three points.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats round out the regular season next weekend, taking on Union and RPI in the Capital District. Puck drop on both night's is slated for 7 p.m., on ESPN+.

STATS AND NOTES
- Graf increased his team lead in the points department, and his 47 on the season match the most by any sophomore in program history (Chad Poliquin, 1998-99).
- The Bobcats completed an undefeated regular season at home, finishing 13-0-1 at M&T Bank Arena this season. They are 30-2-2 in the building since the beginning of last year.
- Quinnipiac celebrated its third consecutive Cleary Cup, given to the ECAC's regular season champion. It is the fourth in five seasons and seventh over the last 11 campaigns.
- Brind'Amour matched his career high of three points, set last season at Princeton on Jan. 18, 2022.
- Lipkin ended the regular season with 11 goals to his name, four of which came this weekend and six of them came in the last five games.
