
Four Quinnipiac Hockey Games to Air on NESN During Upcoming Season

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics has announced an upcoming partnership with NESN (New England Sports Network) for the 2023-24 ice hockey season, as revealed on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023.
As part of the partnership, four Quinnipiac ice hockey contests at M&T Bank Arena will be aired live on NESN platforms this season – beginning with men's ice hockey's home opener on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. The reigning national champions will host Boston College on Banner Night in Hamden, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM.
NESN will also air three additional Quinnipiac games this year.

"We're incredibly excited for the opportunity to showcase our program on NESN this upcoming season," Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Cassandra Turner. "We're looking forward to the chance to play in front of a large regional audience on both Oct. 20 and Jan. 6 as we continue to elevate our team and the sport, and we can't wait to show off our facility and campus to fans around the region."
Quinnipiac has an outstanding record on the national stage in both men's and women's ice hockey, including ECAC Hockey regular season and conference championships, and numerous NCAA Tournament appearances.
The men's ice hockey program has won ECAC Hockey's Cleary Cup as the regular-season champions in seven of the last 11 seasons. The Bobcats also have reached the NCAA Tournament nine times under head coach Rand Pecknold. Overall, QU has won 12 Division I NCAA Tournament games and made three appearances in the Frozen Four, culminating in the program's first national championship in April.
The women's ice hockey team recently completed a stellar 2022-23 season, tying a program record with 30 wins. The Bobcats reached the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time and won a first-round game for the second consecutive year under head coach Cassandra Turner.
