No. 2/3 Bobcats Upend No. 9/10 Harvard, Extend Winning Streak to Seven

Quinnipiac's unbeaten stretch now stands at 16
HAMDEN, Conn. — Four different goalscorers paved the way and Yaniv Perets made 21 saves, including 11 in the final 20 minutes, and the No. 2/3 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team defeated No. 9/10 Harvard, 4-1 on Saturday night in front of 3,523 fans at M&T Bank Arena.
Collin Graf and Ethan de Jong continued their hot stretches, tallying a goal in the first to give the Bobcats the early lead. Sam Lipkin assisted on both, making an emphatic return from his month away with the U.S. National Junior Team.
Cristophe Tellier added a third, finishing home a scramble in front to make it a 3-0 Bobcats' advantage heading into the third.
Skyler Brind'Amour would put the game on ice, clearing a puck out of the defensive zone and into the net to give the game its final scoreline.
Perets finished the night with 21 saves, his highest total since the Belpot final on Nov. 26 and continued his streak of one-goal or fewer performances, marking his fifth consecutive game allowing one goal or fewer.

- Lipkin recorded his fourth, multi-assist contest of the season and his sixth game of multiple points by adding helpers on the first two goals of the night.
- Quinnipiac's unbeaten streak stretches to 16, the longest active stretch in the country. They are also winners of their last nine home contests, another active best in the NCAA.
- de Jong finished the weekend with four points, scoring three goals and adding an assist on the empty-netter on Saturday night. He has scored in three of the last four games and now has double-figure goalscoring seasons in four of his five collegiate campaigns.
- He also has 29 multi-point contests over his collegiate career, the most of any in a Quinnipiac uniform.
- The Bobcats are 26-2-2 at home since the start of last season.
- With the win, Quinnipiac's advantage atop the ECAC grew to 14 points over Cornell, who is 7-3-0.
