Quinnipiac's unbeaten streak extends to 15 games
HAMDEN, Conn. — Behind a pair of goals form Ethan de Jong, the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey program won its sixth in a row by blanking Dartmouth 3-0 on Friday night in front of 3,112 fans at M&T Bank Arena.
de Jong added his second, multi-goal game of the year and fourth of his career as he notched the first and last tallies of the night en route to the shutout victory.
CJ McGee scored 17 seconds after de Jong's first of the night, quickly giving Quinnipiac a 2-0 advantage at the 6:01 mark of the opening frame.
The game's final goal of the night came 1:40 into the second, as Dartmouth goalie Cooper Black made 29 saves across the final two frames to keep the Bobcats from scoring any more.
Yaniv Perets made 14 shutouts for career shutout number 15 and the fourth of the 2022-23 campaign.

- de Jong currently has four, multi-goal games for his caerer, the most by any current Bobcat. He joins Jacob Quillan as the only Quinnipiac players with multiple games of two or more goals.
- He passed Wyatt Bongiovanni on the Division I career goals leaderboard, scoring his 50th and 51st in a Bobcat uniform.
- Skyler Brind'Amour added his eighth career multi-assist contest and second of the campaign with a pair of helpers. He has nine on the season.
- The Bobcats' unbeaten streak reached 15 games, the nation's longest active stretch in the country. They also have won seven in a row at home, also the longest active streak nationally.
- Quinnipiac is 24-1-2 in its last 27 home contests.
