Transfer from NC State Set to Wear #8 with Bobcats
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the addition of transfer midfielder Noe Cabezas, as announced by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats on Jan. 19, 2023.
Cabezas will join Quinnipiac for the spring 2023 semester after transferring in from NC State – where he played in all 17 matches last season. He will wear number 8 for the Bobcats in the fall of 2023.
"The coaches at QU were kind and friendly, and they showed me that they cared about me as an individual," Cabezas said. "Culture and team spirit is something that is very important to me."
The sophomore played club soccer with Angoulême CFC in France before attending NC State.

Cabezas played in 13 matches as a freshman at NC State in 2021, starting in nine of those matches. He scored one goal and added four assists for six total points over 837 minutes that season. The midfielder then played in 15 more games – making nine starts again – as a sophomore this past year. He scored one and added one assist.
"I am looking forward to building on the previous successes that Quinnipiac has already had," he said. "I'm excited to meet new people, discover a new culture, and be a part of an environment that is motivated for success. Competing for championships and qualifying for an NCAA Tournament is our goal."
