QU Falls Just Short in Battle vs. Army

Moser, Storey, Pfersh All Record Try for Bobcats
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's rugby battled against Army in Hamden on Saturday afternoon, falling just short at the end of the second half. Army scored with just 7:00 remaining in the second half to take the lead, defeating QU by the final score of 24-19.
Libby Moser scored at the end of the first half and Abbey Terpstra made the conversion to even the game 7-7 going in to the break. Kat Storey and Hannah Pfersch both found the try zone to begin the second half – as Quinnipiac extended its lead to 19-10.
Army then scored twice – once in the 65th minute and once in the 74th minute – to lead the Black Knights to victory.
