Main Unveils Bobcats' 2022 Schedule

QU Field Hockey to Host 10 Games in Hamden
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac field hockey head coach Becca Main has announced the Bobcats 2022 schedule featuring 10 games at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium.
After hosting an exhibition against Holy Cross on Aug. 17, the Bobcats official 2022 season home opener will be held against New Hampshire on Aug. 26. Following the home-opener, QU hits the road for a three-game stretch starting with a contest against Dartmouth (Sept. 3) held at Maine. The Bobcats follow with a bout against Maine (Sept. 4) before wrapping the trip with a game at Lafayette (Sept. 9).
Quinnipiac returns home to take on LIU on Sept. 11 before traveling to Philadelphia for its BIG EAST opener against Temple on Sept. 16.
The Bobcats kick off a stretch of three straight home games beginning with a bout against UC Davis on Sept. 19. That weekend QU will also host Old Dominion (Sept. 23) and Towson (Sept. 25), before traveling for contests against Liberty (Sept. 30), Yale (Oct. 2) and UConn (Oct. 7).
Following the three-game road trip, Quinnipiac returns to Hamden for back-to-back BIG EAST contests against Saint Joseph's (Oct. 9) and Georgetown (Oct. 14). The Bobcats will then return on the road for contests against Fairfield (Oct. 16) and Villanova (Oct. 21).
The Bobcats conclude the 2022 regular season at home with contests against Penn (Oct. 23), Providence (Oct. 28) and Sacred Heart (Oct. 30).
The BIG EAST Tournament is slated for the first weekend of November from Nov. 4-6.
