Quillan Scores a Pair as No. 2/3 Bobcats Extend Unbeaten Streak to 14

WORCESTER, Mass. — Sophomore forward Jacob Quillan scored the first two goals of the night for the Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program and it would be all it needed as it added a pair of tallies late en route to a 4-1 victory over Holy Cross on Friday night at the Hart Center.
The Dartmouth, Nova Scotia native finished off a couple of pretty passing plays to punctuate the Bobcats' offensive sequences and put them at 15-1-3 to close out the 2022 calendar year and extend their unbeaten streak to 14 games, the longest active stretch in the country.
Collin Graf also finished the night with a trio of assists.
TJ Friedmann and Skyler Brind'Amour both added goals late as the Bobcat offense has now scored 26 goals in its last four games.
Yaniv Perets, making his 50th career start between the pipes, totaled 19 saves.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats return home for the restart of ECAC Hockey play, hosting Dartmouth and No. 9 Harvard at M&T Bank Arena on Jan. 6 and 7, 2023. Puck drop in both contests is slated for 7 p.m.

- Quillan added multi-goal game No. 3 on the year, the most by a Bobcat this season and tied for the most in any current Quinnipiac player's tenure. He took over the top of the team leaderobard with his 10th tally of the season.
- Cristophe Tellier added his second multi-assist performance in three contests.
- Friedmann added his eighth goal of the season and 25th of his career. He has 18 goals in his last two seasons with the Bobcats.
