5 QU Players Record Double-Digit Point Totals in Win
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball scored a season-high 56 points in the first half, outlasting Marist by the final score of 94-87 on Friday night at the People's United Center in Hamden.
With the victory, the Bobcats move to 6-4 in MAAC play.
Five Bobcats registered double-digit point totals, led by 20 points from Matt Balanc.
Kevin Marfo added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Quinnipiac shot 22-of-34 (64.7%) in the first half, going 9-of-15 from 3-point range over the first 20 minutes of play.

- QU went 35-of-64 (54.7%) for the night. It marks the fifth time this season that Quinnipiac has shot 50% or better from the floor.

- Kevin Marfo earned his eighth double-double of the year, stuffing the stat sheet with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in 29+ minutes on the floor. He shot 6-of-11 from the floor.
- Tymu Chenery chipped in with 14 points and four rebounds, Dezi Jones added 13 points and six assists, and Jacob Rigoni recorded 12 points and five assists.
- QU's largest lead was 23 points (17:39, 2nd half). The Bobcats led for the entire game.
- The Bobcats outscored Marist 36-22 in the paint, and held a 22-6 advantage in points off turnovers.
- Quinnipiac returns to play on Sunday, Jan. 30, traveling to Siena for a 2:00 PM contest from MVP Arena.
