Bobcats Defeat Mount St. Mary's 29-5
EMMITTSBURG, Md. – Quinnipiac first year Fódhla Ní Bhraonáin and sophomore Kat Story combined for 18 points to lead the Bobcats over Mount St. Mary's in NIRA rugby action on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats earned a 29-5 win in the season finale thanks to a defensive shutout in the second half.

- The Bobcats scored the game's first points after Quinnipiac won the scrum, got to the near side, and made the extra pass for Mariah Norris-Johnson to score, with Alexis Haskins making the conversion kick to make it 7-0.
- The Mount responded about six minutes later when the Mountaineers won the scrum deep in Quinnipiac's territory, and Tania Wheeler picked up the ball came up short. Still, Lisa Madray scored on the second effort to make it 7-5.
- Quinnipiac went on a 14-0 run that lasted about three minutes, with the first try coming off a scrum win for the Bobcats, Crow passed it out wide and Ní Bhraonáin scored by cutting back into the middle and shaking off multiple defenders. The second try was scored when the Bobcats had a big return on the kickoff, and Kat Storey scored after a quick restart, making it 21-5 going into halftime.
- Both teams battled evenly to start the second half, but Quinnipiac was able to get on the board first in the second half on a penalty kick by Ní Bhraonáin that increased the ead to 24-5.
- Quinnipiac scored the game's final try when the Bobcats countered the Mountaineers and worked across the field to get Storey her second try of the game to reach the final score of 29-5. Hazel Bice earned the assist on the try.
