Bobcats Lose Conference Match-Up in Double Overtime
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Julianna Cappello scored her first goal of the season Friday afternoon, but the Quinnipiac field hockey team came up short against the Georgetown Hoyas, 2-1, in double overtime.
Sophomore Micaela Grajales recorded her first assist as a Bobcat.
The Hoyas outshot the Bobcats, 17-8. Lucia Pompeo, Emilia Massarelli, and Cappello all tallied two shots each. Junior Mack Vorel notched an impressive eight saves in the net in her seventh game of the season.
