ORLANDO, Fla. – Quinnipiac men's tennis began its trip to Florida on Monday in Orlando, falling in a close battle vs. Northern Kentucky, 4-3, at the UTSA National Tennis Center.

Alester Magalit and Bryan Schick each picked up a singles point for the Bobcats, while Quinnipiac earned the doubles point to begin the day after the duos of Austin Yannone/Aleksa Martinovic and Alester Magalit/Bryan Schick each picked up a win.

NOTES

Alester Magalit picked up the No. 2 singles point once again, topping Emilien Burnel in two sets. He now has a team-high 11 singles wins in 2019-20.
Bryan Schick picked up the No. 6 singles point, defeating Nick Elleman 6-2, 6-2 to earn his first singles victory of the season.
Austin Yannone and Aleksa Martinovic teamed up for the first time, winning in No. 2 doubles by the final score of 6-3.
Alester Magalit and Bryan Schick are now 4-1 as a duo this year after besting NKU's No. 3 doubles team 7-5.
