Andie Williams Named MAAC Player of the Week

Williams, Bobcats Prepare for Next Week's Florida Trip
Edison, N.J. – Quinnipiac women's tennis First Year Andie Williams has been named MAAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
Williams earned both a singles and a doubles win this past weekend for the Bobcats. She picked up the No. 2 singles point with a two-set win (6-0, 6-1) vs. Wagner's Khalilzade, then teamed up with senior Layla Rodriguez to win a No. 2 doubles match in commanding fashion (6-2). She now has nine singles victories during her first collegiate season, while also winning three doubles matches.
The weekly honor is the Bobcats' second of the spring season, as fellow first-year student Jordan Bradley picked up MAAC Player of the Week honors on Feb. 12, 2020.
Williams and the Bobcats return to action on Monday, March 9, as the Bobcats get ready for a spring-break trip down to Florida to continue non-conference play.
