Bobcats Drop Thursday Contest vs. Drexel in Bubbleville

UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a non-conference contest against Drexel, 70-58, in its second game of the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament on Thursday at Mohegan Sun Arena.

First-year wing Tymu Chenery scored a team-high 14 points to go along with four rebounds. He shot 4-of-10 from the floor in 27 minutes.

Sophomore Seth Pinkney added 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks, and sophomore Brendan McGuire chipped in with 11 points, four assists and two rebounds.Â

- Seth Pinkney played a season-high 21 minutes, scoring 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting. Pinkney added four blocks and seven rebounds. The sophomore big man is now 10-of-11 from the floor (90.9 percent) through three games in 2020-21.Â
- Brendan McGuire added a season-best 11 points and four assists. He had eight of the Bobcats' 30 first-half points.
- Elias King went 5-for-6 from the floor for Quinnipiac, recording 10 points and three rebounds off the bench.
- Savion Lewis added eight points, four rebounds and four assists in a team-high 29 minutes played. Jacob Rigoni added three points and six rebounds.Â
- Drexel shot 20-of-24 from the free throw line. The Dragons outrebounded Quinnipiac 26-25.Â
- The Bobcats return to their home floor on Sunday, Dec. 6, hosting New Hampshire at the People's United Center at 2:00 PM (streamed live on ESPN+).
