Zaretsky Becomes Fourth Men's Tennis Player to Win the Award This Season
EDISON, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's tennis senior Freddie Zaretsky has been named MAAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday, April 3.
Zaretsky earned a No. 1 singles victory over the weekend. He also added a No. 3 doubles win on Sunday vs. Harvard, giving him two total match wins over the weekend. The senior has now won seven singles contests in 2018-19, and has four doubles victories.
Zaretsly is the fourth Bobcats to earn Player of the Week honors in the MAAC this spring, as Hielke Moore earned the award on March 6, Patrick Cachapero earned the honors on Jan. 30, and Aleksa Martinovic won Player of the Week on Jan. 23.
Quinnipiac men's tennis is back in action on Thursday, April 4, traveling to Wagner for a 3:00 p.m. non-conference match.
