HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell in a tight contest vs. Marist, 63-61, on Friday night at the People's United Center in Hamden. With the loss, the Bobcats move to 13-11 (8-5 MAAC) so far this year.

Cameron Young paced the Bobcats once again, recording 24 points and four rebounds. Jacob Rigoni added 13 points.

NOTES

Quinnipiac went 20-of-53 (37.7 percent) from the floor in total, going 11-for-33 from 3-point distance.
The Bobcats outscored Marist 40-36 in the second half. Quinnipiac cut the deficit to just one point with two seconds left after Rich Kelly nailed a 3-point field goal.
Cameron Young's 24 points came on 8-of-13 shooting. The graduate guard has now tallied 20+ points in 15 games this season.
Jacob Rigoni went 4-of-14 from the floor for 13 total points, recording his sixth straight game with 10+ points.
Freshman Tyrese Williams added six points, seven rebounds and five assists, and sophomore Rich Kelly recorded six points and five assists.
Abdulai Bundu added seven rebounds for the Bobcats, four of which came on the offensive end.
Quinnipiac outrebounded Marist 33-27. The Bobcats assisted on 15 of 20 made baskets.
