Quinnipiac Tops Presbyterian, 73-64, in Day 2 of Tournament
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its second straight win on Saturday evening, topping Presbyterian by the final score of 73-64 during Day 2 of the Bobcats Invitational in Hamden.
Tyrese Williams (23 points), Rich Kelly (20 points) and Aaron Falzon (14 points) all reached double figures for the Bobcats – who move to an even 2-2 on the season. Quinnipiac recorded a season-high total from the charity stripe, going 20-for-24 from the free throw line.

- Sophomore guard Tyrese Williams finished with 23 points – which ties his career high. Williams scored 23 points on Feb. 12, 2019 vs. Rider in his first year with the program.
- Rich Kelly finished with 20 points, six assists and three rebounds, and was a team-best +12 from the floor. The junior shot 5-of-9 from the floor and 2-for-3 from three-point range. Kelly is averaging team-high totals in both points (15.5) and assists (4.3).
- Aaron Falzon added a season-high 14 points and a career-high eight rebounds, drilling four shots from three-point range.
- Kevin Marfo registered a team-high 13 rebounds in the victory. He now has an impressive 52 total boards in four games (13.0 rebounds per contest).
- The Bobcats' largest lead was 14 points, which came with 4:44 left in the second half.
- Cory Hightower recorded a triple double to pace the Blue Hose (16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists).
- Quinnipiac outscored Presbyterian 14-3 in fast break chances.
- Head Coach Baker Dunleavy now has 30 wins over his first two-plus seasons with the Bobcats.
- Quinnipiac will square off with Sacred Heart in the final day of the Bobcats Invitational on Nov. 24 in Hamden.
