Bobcats drop a tight contest with the Big Red
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team lost a competitive 1-0 heartbreaker to the #3 Cornell Big Red. Senior Abbie Ives tallied 18 saves. Cornell's Kristin O'Neill scored the game-winner on a 5v3 power play in the second period.
The Bobcats skated 6-vs-5 with 2:45 left in the third, but could not score the equalizer.

- (13:44, 1st period, 5v3) – Quinnipiac 0, Cornell 1: The Big Red scored in the second period while on a 5v3 power play. Seniors Kati Tabin and Kenzie Prater and sophomore Courtney Vorster killed off the penalty for over a minute before Cornell's Kristin O'Neill scored to take a 1-0 lead over the Bobcats. Jamie Bourbonnais and Maddie Mills recorded assists.
- Sophomore Lexie Adzija and senior Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout led the team with five shots each.
- Tabin and junior Olivia Konigson both had three blocked shots.
