PHILADELPHIA – Quinnipiac men's tennis wrapped up play at day two of the ITA Regional Championships on Friday, Oct. 18, as Patrick Cachapero and Hielke Moore both competed.
Cachapero and Moore began the day competing together in main draw doubles, falling to Gore/Blanco of Fairfield in a close match. Moore then earned a spot in main draw singles, falling vs. Buffalo's Matt Johnson by the score of 6-2, 7-5.
The Bobcats began competition at the ITA Regional Championships on Thursday, Oct. 17, as Alester Magalit competed in singles play. Magalit – last year's MAAC Rookie of the Year – fell vs. John Speicher of Dartmouth in three sets to begin tournament play for the Bobcats. Magalit won the first set of the match in impressive fashion (6-0), then fell in set two and set three.
