POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Quinnipiac men's basketball shot 30-for-55 (54.5 percent) from the field, cruising past Marist by the final score of 92-78 on Friday night at McCann Arena.

Cameron Young led the way with 29 total points on 9-of-13 shooting, moving just 11 points away from 1,000 for his Quinnipiac career.

Rich Kelly added 22 points, and Abdulai Bundu recorded 14 points and seven rebounds.

The Bobcats went 15-for-32 from 3-point range, a 46.9 percent clip. 15 made 3-pointers is a single-game high for Quinnipiac so far in 2018-19.
Quinnipiac shot 14-for-30 (46.7 percent) in the first 20 minutes of action. Cameron Young got to the basket for two points with just three seconds left in the half, sending Quinnipiac into the break with a 39-37 lead.
The Bobcats then went on a 9-4 run over the first 3:39 of the first half, including four points from Abdulai Bundu. Quinnipiac shot 4-of-6 in that span.
QU shot an impressive 16-for-25 (64.0 percent) in the second half, going 9-for-15 from distance.
The Bobcats assisted on 17 of 30 made baskets.
Camron Young's 29 points came via 9-for-13 shooting, as the graduate guard went 6-of-9 from 3-point range. Young now has 989 career points, just 11 shy of becoming Quinnipiac's 41^st 1,000-point scorer. He added six rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes. Young now has 10+ points in 17 of 18 games this year, and 20+ points in six straight contests.
Rich Kelly added 22 points, four assists and three rebounds, going 6-for-10 from the floor. The sophomore has tallied 10+ points in five of his last six, and now has a team-high 64 total assists in 13 games played.
Abdulai Bundu turned in another solid performance, posting 14 points and seven rebounds on 6-of-7 shooting. Bundu has 49 rebounds over his last five games.
Tyrese Williams stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, six assists and five rebounds, and Travis Atson added eight points, two rebounds and two helpers.
