Zaretsky Picks Up Singles Victory, Bobcats Complete Action at ITA Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's tennis completed action at the 2018 ITA Regionals on Saturday at the Cordish Family Pavilion and Lenz Tennis Center in Princeton, as two Bobcats participated in action.
Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, N.J.) earned a singles victory over Yale's Dylan King in the consolation round, and Alester Magalit (Hong Kong) fell in main draw singles play vs. Bryant's Matt Kuhar.

Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, N.J.) earned a singles victory over Yale's Dylan King in the consolation round, and Alester Magalit (Hong Kong) fell in main draw singles play vs. Bryant's Matt Kuhar.
NOTES
- Both Alester Magalit and Aleksa Martinovic earned a pair of singles wins on Day 1 of the tournament to advance to the main draws, then Magalit topped Ben Collier of Brown on Day 2 to move on.
- Alester Magalit moves to 3-1 in singles play at the ITA Regionals, earning two wins on Day 1 to advance to the main draw before winning his third match on Friday. The freshman finishes the weekend with seven singles victories so far in his first collegiate season.
- Aleksa Martinovic finishes the tournament with two more singles wins, as he now has won eight matches in 2018.
- Freddie Zaretsky finished the 2018 ITA Regionals with a 1-1 record. The senior has now won three singles matches so far in 2018-19.
- With the doubles loss on Friday, Axel Stern and Aleksa Martinovic finish the tournament with four doubles victories so far this year.
