
ECAC Women's Hockey Banquet at 7 PM to be Streamed for Free on BoxCast

Hamden, Connecticut - The ECAC Women's Hockey Banquet scheduled for Friday, March 4 at 7 PM is set to be streamed for free via BoxCast and can be accessed at ECACHockey.com.

The Bobcats have several players up for major awards, including Taylar Cianfarano (Oswego, New York) who was named a finalist for the ECAC Hockey Forward of the Yearra and Player of the Year Awards. Sydney Rossman (Excelsior, Minnesota) was named a finalist for the Goaltender of the Year Award as well as the Player of the Year Award and Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) was also announced as a finalst for the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year Award.
The annual league banquet will be followed by the beginning of semifinal action on Saturday, March 5. The No. 1 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team will take on the No. 6 St. Lawrence Saints at 1 PM followed by the No. 2 Clarkson Golden Knights facing the No. 4 Colgate Raiders at 4 PM. The winners will then meet in the ECAC Hockey Championship game at 2 PM on Sunday, March 6.
Fans in the United States can watch all three games of the tournament live on ESPN3 by logging on to WatchESPN.com. Fans in Canada are able to stream the semifinal games through BoxCast on the ECAC Hockey website, while the final will also air on TSN Go.
Tickets for the ECAC Hockey Tournament can be purchased by going to the TD Bank Sports Center Box Office located at 305 Sherman Ave., calling the Box Office at 203-582-3905, or by clicking the tickets link at QuinnipiacBobcats.com. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children (2-12) and seniors (65+), while students at the four schools can get in for free with their valid student ID.
