Quinnipiac will complete its first BIG EAST Conference schedule when it heads up-state to take on nationally-ranked No. 3 University of Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 28 at 4 p.m. at George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex in Storrs, Conn. Following Quinnipiac's tilt at No. 3 UConn, the Bobcats will face Yale on Sunday, Oct. 30 at Johnson Field in New Haven, Conn. at 2 p.m. Prior to the start of the game, Quinnipiac will honor its three senior players – Angie King, Savanna Reilly and Allison Tanner – as part of Senior Day festivities.
PLAYOFF SCENARIO
Despite a loss last week at Temple, Quinnipiac – at 3-3 in the conference – can qualify for the BIG EAST Conference tournament with a win at UConn on Friday as well as a win by Liberty against Temple.
THE BOBCATS' LAST TIME-OUT
The Quinnipiac University field hockey team lost to Temple, 3-2, in a BIG EAST Conference match-up at Howarth Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Quinnipiac's Felicia Costanzo (Yorktown Heights, New York) and Dayna Barlow (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) both scored while Lauren Belskie (Hillsborough, Pennsylvania) and Valerie Perkins (Yorktown Heights, New York) both had assists.
ALL-TIME AGAINST UCONN
Quinnipiac is 0-11 all-time against UConn including an 0-8 mark on the Huskies' home field.
SCOUTING THE No. 3 UCONN HUSKIES
Quinnipiac and Yale have faced-off 16 times with Quinnipiac owning a 5-11 record all-time against the Bulldogs. Three of Quinnipiac's five wins against Yale all-time have come in its last five games. The Bobcats are 1-9 all-time on Yale's home turf with its only win in New Haven coming on Oct. 9, 2002. Quinnipiac is 2-3 at Johnson Field this season.

SCOUTING THE No. 3 UCONN HUSKIES
- UConn enters the weekend with a record of 16-1 overall and 6-0 in the BIG EAST, and have already clinched the conference regular season title and the top seed in the conference tournament.
- As a team, the Huskies lead the nation in scoring average (5.12), scoring margin (4.00), points per game (14.41), and goals per game (5.12). They rank second in assists per game (4.18) and third in goals against average (1.12).
- UConn saw its 16-game unbeaten stream to an end against Maryland, 2-1, in College Park on Sunday, Oct. 23.
- Charlotte Veitner leads a trio of players to reach double-digits in goals and assists. Veitner has scored 22 goals and assisted on 14 more for 58 points while Amanda Collins and Casey Umstead have both totaled 16 goals and 11 assists for 43 points to date.

- Eight different Bobcats have accounted for Quinnipiac's 29 goals to date.
- Six of those eight have scored multiple goals (Reilly, 8; Barlow, 7; Belskie, King and Federico, 3; Costanzo, 2 )
- Savanna Reilly currently leads Quinnipiac in goals (8) and points (20).
- Reilly joins Kristin Crosby (2000, 2001), Jennalise Taylor (2012, 2013) and Jess Rusin (2011, 2012, 2013) as the fourth player in program history to post back-to-back 20-point seasons.
- Reilly is also tied for eighth in career goals (24), 11th in career assists (11) and nine in career points (59). Her next goal would make her the seventh player in program history with 25 goals and the seventh player in program history with 60 points.
- Quinnipiac currently leads the BIG EAST and NCAA Division I field hockey with 17 defensive saves.
- Angie King (South Windsor, Connecticut) currently leads all NCAA Division I field hockey players with 12 defensive saves, highlighted by a season-high three defensive stops against Villanova on Friday, Sept. 30.
- King is also NCAA Division I field hockey's active career defensive saves leader with 29 for her career. Lauren Belskie checks-in with the seventh most among active players with 11.
- Dayna Barlow (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) sits second behind Reilly with 16 points on seven goals and two assists to date.
- Barlow has accumulated six goals and two assists for 14 points in her last seven games, of which Quinnipiac is 3-4.
- Barlow has scored in four-straight games and six of her last seven.
- Lauren Belskie (Hillsborough, New Jersey) has tallied three goals and two assists in her last five games, as well as two defensive saves. Belskie also has one of Quinnipiac's two two-goal outings after scoring twice against Liberty.
- Belskie's three defensive saves rank 11th nationally.
- Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Golini (York, Maine) has stopped 70 of the 103 shots-on-goal she has seen this season for a .680 save percentage while her 33 goals-allowed over 998:34 give her a 2.31 goals-against-average.
- Among NCAA Division I freshman goalkeepers with over 800 minutes played, Golini's has allowed the fewest goals (33) while her save percentage (.680) ranks third.
- Freshman Ines Ruiz-Martinez (Madrid, Spain) is tied with Savanna Reilly with a team-high four assists.
THE BOBCATS AGAINST THE BIG EAST
- Quinnipiac is currently 3-3 in the BIG EAST, including a 2-1 mark on its home turf against conference opponents.
- Quinnipiac has scored 16 goals in six conference games to date, while allowing 17.
- Savanna Reilly and Lauren Belskie lead Quinnipiac with three goals and two assists for eight points in six BIG EAST games.
- Dayna Barlow checks-in with two goals and one assist in conference play while Ines Ruiz-Martinez had a team-high three assists, with one goal, in BIG EAST action.
