HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac women's basketball team will host MAAC foe Saint Peter's for its first annual "Kids Day at the Bank" on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 11:00 a.m. against Saint Peter's.
The MAAC annually has all 11 participating institutions dedicate one conference home game "Kids Day" to attract local school children from surrounding elementary and middle schools. Each "Kids Day" game starts in the early morning (10-11 AM) and offers school-aged children the opportunity to come watch local collegiate women's basketball. This will be Quinnipiac's first season participating in the MAAC's annual celebration of the game of basketball and furthering relationships with the surrounding youth in communities.
Quinnipiac is currently 23-3 overall and 15-0 in MAAC play. Quinnipiac extended its winning streak to 13 straight games this past weekend, defeating Canisius in overtime, 88-85, at the TD Bank Sports Center.
