Ezaka Advances to Second Round of Main Draw Singles at Day Two of ITA Regionals

Flushing, New York – Day Two of the USTA/ITA Regionals at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center hosted by St. John's University is underway as the Bobcats sent two members of the Quinnipiac men's tennis team to the court in the main draw of the tournament.
Kei Ezaka (Ojai, California) took the court in the main draw of singles for Quinnipiac in the second eighth of the bracket. The sophomore Bobcat took on Jason Luu from Cornell and defeated the Big Red, 6-4, 6-4. Ezaka moves on to face Victor Pugliese from Monmouth Saturday in the second round.
Ezaka also took the court with junior Jonas Kuwert (Jesteberg, Germany) in doubles for the Bobcats where they faced off with Fairleigh Dickinson's Arvis Berzins and Gonzalo Quintana, but lost to the Knights' duo 8-4 in their first round matchup.
