
Bryant Defeats Men's Tennis, 6-1

Conn. - Corey Morgenstern (Old Bethpage, N.Y.) earned a win at No.
6 singles, but the Quinnipiac University men's tennis team was
defeated by Bryant, 6-1, Saturday afternoon on the Quinnipiac
Outdoor Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 5-8 (0-1
NEC), while the Bulldogs improve to 10-6 (5-0 NEC).
Morgenstern defeated Daniel Cournoyer, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1, at No. 6 singles. James Kwei (Dedham, Mass.) and Alex Lazerowich (Stratham, N.H.) also picked up a doubles victory at No. 2, defeating Hart Callahan and Cournoyer, 8-4. But the Bulldogs took the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 3, and took five of six singles flights to account for the 6-1 victory.
The Bobcats return to action Monday, when they play host to Villanova. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.
