
Men's Tennis Defeats Siena, 6-1

Andrew Weeden (Martinsville, N.J.), Alex Lazerowich (Stratham, N.H.) and Corey Morgenstern (Old Bethpage, N.Y.) each won twice for the Bobcats. Weeden and Morgenstern paired for an 8-5 victory against Jarrett Siwiec and Robert Cooperman at No. 2 doubles. Weeden then defeated Michael Amico, 6-2, 7-6, at No. 1 singles, while Morgenstern got past Cooperman, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 5 singles.
Lazerowich combined with James Kwei (Dedham, Mass.) to defeat Amico and Peter Collins, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles, before defeating Collins, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 3 singles.
Chris
Nelson (Scituate, Mass.) and Ben Shapiro (Katonah, N.Y.) also
earned singles wins to account for the Bobcats' fifth and sixth
points of the match.
The Bobcats return
home to face Hofstra on Tuesday. First serve from the Quinnipiac
Tennis Courts is scheduled for 3 p.m.
