
Men's Tennis Falls At Boston University, 7-0

BOSTON -
The Quinnipiac University men's tennis team fell in its spring
semester opener at Boston University, 7-0, Saturday evening at the
Track and Tennis Center. With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 0-2 on
the 2010-11 season.
The Terriers took the doubles point with a pair of 9-8 victories at No. 1 and 2, as well as an 8-5 decision at No. 3. BU also took all six singles flights. Chris Nelson (Scituate, Mass.) was the only Bobcat to take a set, but fell, 7-5, 3-6, 10-2, to Alex Hallenbeck at No. 5. James Kwei (Dedham, Mass.) also played a very close match before falling, 7-5, 6-4, to Jarred Pendleton at No. 2.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, Feb. 11, when they travel to Harvard. First serve is slated for 8 p.m.
