The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will head to
Hanover, N.H. on Friday, Jan. 29 to take on Dartmouth College this
weekend. Quinnipiac will play just once this weekend, as the
originally scheduled contest against Harvard was moved to Dec. 29.
The Bobcats and Big Green hit-the-ice at 7 p.m. at Dartmouth's
Thompson Arena in the Quinnipiac's lone game of the weekend.
Quinnipiac enters Friday's game with a record of 13-10-2 overall
and 7-6-0 in ECAC Hockey play, good for 5th place in the league
standings. Dartmouth is currently 5-14-0 overall and 3-9-0 for 11th
place in ECAC Hockey.

Don Boyle will have the play-by-play for Friday night's game at
Dartmouth. Analyst Todd Caroll will handle the color commentary
duties in Hanover, N.H.
All-Time Against Dartmouth
In 10 games against Dartmouth all-time, Quinnipiac is 6-3-1, with
wins in four of their last five meetings. Last season, Dartmouth
was one of two teams, along with Clarkson, that the Bobcats swept,
winning 6-0 at home to complete a four-win in six-days swing before
edging the Big Green in the final game of the year to clinch
home-ice advantage for the ECAC Hockey Tournament. Quinnipiac has
won 4 of 5 meetings on its home ice against the Big Green,
including the last two meetings. Quinnipiac is 2-2-1 in Hanover,
N.H. all-time.
Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green are coming off a 3-1 victory against first-place
Union College on Jan. 23. Joe Stejskal, Scott Fleming and Adam
Estoclet all scored for Dartmouth in the win. Fleming and Estoclet
are currently tied for the team lead with 17 points. Fleming has
scored a team-high nine goals to go-along with eight assists, while
Estoclet has tallied seven goals and 10 assists. Matt Reber carries
a team-high 12 assists along with three goals for 15 points. In
goal, Jody O'Neill has seen the majority of the time between the
pipes for Dartmouth. O'Neill has played over 850 minutes in net
spanning 16 games, posting a 4-12-0 record with a 3.79
goals-against average and a .890 save percentage. James Mello has
started the last two games for Dartmouth in goal. He is 1-2-0 with
a 1.74 GAA. Mello stopped 39 shots against Union on Saturday,
including a pair of 14-save periods to close out the win.

Company
Brandon Wong (14 goals, 14 assists, 28 pionts), Eric Lampe
(10-16-26) and Scott Zurevinski (11-12-23) make Quinnipiac one of
two NCAA Division I schools, along with Michigan State, to feature
three players to reach double figures in goals and assists to
date.
20-Point Scorers
Quinnipiac became the third team this season to have four players
(Wong, Lampe, Zurevinski and Jean-Marc Beaudoin (7-14-20)) reach
the 20-point mark, to date. Quinnipiac is one of eight schools
total, along with Michigan State (5), New Hampshire (5), Ferris
State, Miami, Northern Michigan, UMass and UMass Lowell, to feature
four 20-point scorers in their line-up.
Great Scott!
Scott Zurevinski became the third Quinnipiac player this season,
joining Eric Lampe against Yale on Dec. 4, and Jean-Marc Beaudoin
against Harvard on Nov. 13, to pass out three assists in a game.
Zurevinski has three assists in a 3-3 tie with Niagara on Saturday,
Jan. 23.

With two goals against Niagara on Saturday, Jan. 23, during a game
broadcast live on the Niagara Sports Network, Brandon Wong became
the third player to turn in a multiple-goal game in a contest on
television. In Quinnipiac's previous two games televised, Eric
Lampe had a hat trick against Harvard on Nov. 13, while Wong had a
pair of goals against UMass on Nov. 28.

Senior captain Jean-Marc Beaudoin matched his previous career-high
assist total with his 14th helper of the season against Niagara on
Saturday night. Senior Greg Holt has totaled six goals and 11
assists, leaving him agoal, assist and point short of career-highs
in all three categories.
They're Good Friends
Beaudoin and Wong are the only two players in the Quinnipiac
line-up to reach the 20-point mark in each of the last three
seasons.
Gentle Ben
Freshman Ben Arnt scored his first career goal with three seconds
left in the Bobcats loss to Niagara on Friday night. Arnt became
the fifth Quinnipiac freshman to score this season.
Russell Goodman...On The Board
Freshman Russell Goodman scored his first career goal in last
Friday's loss to St. Cloud State. He was assisted on the play by
senior captain Jean-Marc Beaudoin and classmate Eric Lampe.
25-25 Guys
Quinnipiac is one of five team's nationally, along with UMass,
Canisius, Denver and Union, to boast two players (Wong, Lampe) with
25 points.
Double-Double Too
Wong, Lampe and Zurevinski join the group of 44 players in Division
I men's ice hockey to reach double figures in goals and assists to
date.
Youth Movement
Last season, through 39 games, Quinnipiac freshmen accounted for 18
of Quinnipiac's 124 goals (14.5%). This season, through the team's
first 23 games, Quinnipiac freshmen have 18 of the Bobcats 76 goals
for 23.7%.
Closing The Door
Last season, Quinnipiac was 16-0-0 in games in which it led after
the second period. In their last 44 games in that scenario, dating
back three seasons, Quinnipiac is undefeated at 40-0-4 when playing
with a lead heading into the final frame. The Bobcats last
loss,when leading after the second period, came in the 2006-07 ECAC
Hockey Championship Game when Clarkson scored four third period
goals to come-from-behind and take the league crown.

Since the door's opened on Quinnipiac University's state-of-the-art
arena on Jan. 27, 2007, the Bobcats have played 57 games on their
home ice, posting a 32-19-6 record.
Milestone Marker
Brandon Wong became the 11th player in Quinnipiac history, as well
as the sixth at the Division I level, to reach the 60-goal mark
with a marker against Brown on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Impressive Information
Wong is one of two active players in NCAA Division I hockey, to
score 60 goals and assist on 60 more for his career. St. Cloud
State's Ryan Lasch has totaled 69 goals and 83 assists for his
career. Wong is also third among active career scoring leaders with
128 (61-67) points, trailing Lasch (70-84-154) and Denver's Rhett
Rakhshani (54-76-130).
Three With 30 And 30
For their careers, Jean-Marc Beaudoin (36 goals, 49 assists), Eric
Lampe (44-47) and Brandon Wong (61-67) have all reached the
30-goal, 30-assist mark. The trio makes Quinnipiac one of seven
teams in NCAA Division I hockey to feature three players with at
least 30 goals and 30 assists for their career.
Multiple Points
Against Princeton, freshman wing D'Arcy Oakes scored twice in the
Bobcats 4-3 overtime loss. Oakes became the sixth Bobcat to score
twice in a game this season, joining Brandon Wong, Eric Lampe,
Jeremy Langlois, Mike Atkinson and Scott Zurevinski.
Daily Dime
A Quinnipiac player has scored two goals in 10 of its 25 games this
season. Three of the six players (see above) to score twice in a
game (Wong, Lampe and Langlois) have done it twice, while Wong is
the only player with three multiple-goal games.
