HAMDEN, Conn. The Quinnipiac men's lacrosse team has moved up one spot to No. 6 in this week's Turfer Athletic New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Associate coaches poll, the organization announced Monday. The Bobcats split a pair Great Western Lacrosse League contests this past weekend in Colorado, falling to Denver before defeating Air Force, 11-10, in overtime.
Brown comes in at No. 1 for the third consecutive week, while fellow Ivy League schools Harvard and Yale fill the No. 2 and 3 spots, respectively. UMass and Providence follow at No. 4 and 5. After the Bobcats, Sacred Heart and Dartmouth round out the poll.
Quinnipiac concludes a four-game road stretch, Friday afternoon at Notre Dame. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
