Robert Lynch captained the 1973–74 men’s basketball team to the ECAC New England Division II Championship. The forward averaged 14.4 points per game and 6.5 rebounds during the 1974–75 season, when he also served as co-captain. He was voted to the ECAC All-Weekly Team as well as the Most Hustle Award.
