The winningest coach in men’s ice hockey history, Rand Pecknold has amassed an impressive 327 career wins in his 628 games (.585). In 2011–12, he led Quinnipiac to its 16th consecutive non-losing season. In 2005, he was the Atlantic Hockey Coach of the Year. In 2002, he guided Quinnipiac to the MAAC Hockey Championship, and to its first NCAA Tournament appearance. For his career, he has coached 23 All-League selections, 12 All-Rookie Team selections, five league Players of the Year, four All-Americans and one Hobey Baker Memorial Award Finalist.
