During his 18-year tenure as head coach, Mike Quitko has been the driving force behind the regional dominance and national recognition of the University’s men’s and women’s tennis teams. Quitko has led the women’s program to five consecutive NEC Championships and five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. On the men’s side, Quitko’s teams have captured three consecutive NEC Championships, advancing to the NCAA Tournament all three times. For his career, which has featured 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, Quinnipiac has totaled 408 wins. Quitko is a six-time NEC Coach of the Year and a six-time Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year.
