Maria Holland

Maria Holland was one of Quinnipiac women’s basketball’s all-time greats. A member of the 1983–84 squad that set a school record with 28 wins, she is the school’s all-time leader in assists (681) and steals (560), and is tied for first in games played (119). Holland also ranks third in free throws made with 336, fourth in scoring with 1,358 points and fifth with field goals made with 511. Holland led the team in assists for three straight years, from 1983–84, 1984–85 and 1985–86. Holland finished her career averaging 11.4 points and 5.7 assists per game.
