Linda Wooster served in Athletics from 1984–2009, as coordinator of women’s athletics, assistant athletic director and senior woman administrator, associate and assistant professor of physical education, sports information director, and associate athletic director. She oversaw the recreation program, the fitness center, intramurals and special events. In 2005, Wooster received the University’s Excellence Award for Service to Students. She was inducted into the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Connecticut High School Coaches’ Association Hall of Fame in 2004. She is a professor emeritus of physical education in the School of Health Sciences.
