Francine Perry, a four-year letter winner on the women’s basketball team, is the most decorated Quinnipiac women’s basketball history. A four-year letter winner in the early 1980s, Perry was named the New England Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Year in 1984–85 and was a twotime first team All-NECC selection. Perry also was selected as the NECC Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the team to the NECC title in 1984. Perry currently stands as Quinnipiac’s all-time leader in scoring (1,855 points), rebounding (1,546) and field goals made (349), while ranking second in free throws made (349) and third in blocks (204). Perry also holds single-season records in six categories (points, points per game, rebounds, blocks, field goals and free throws) and single-game records in two (free throws and rebounds).
