Hall of Fame

Dennis Flanagan
- Induction:
- 2003
- Class:
- 1972
A member of the 1966 men’s soccer team that posted an astonishing 12–1 regular season record, Dennis Flanagan received both All-New England and AllAmerican honors in 1967. After the 1967 season he served our nation as a member of the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. Upon his return to Quinnipiac in 1970, this rugged fullback maximized his physical stature and athletic ability to become an offensive threat in an era of “stay at home” defenders. He established records for goals and assists by a fullback. Leading his teams to a remarkable 32–20–6 record, Flanagan was truly the heart and soul of Coach Bill Brew’s squad.
