Denice Horsfield was a four-year letter winner for Quinnipiac's Field Hockey team from 1996-2000. In 1999, Horsfield helped lead Quinnipiac to the program's first of two Northeast Conference Championships as she assisted on the only goal in the 1999 NEC Championship Game- a 1-0 win against Monmouth. That season, Horsfield was name to the All-Northeast Conference Field Hockey First Team while she also earned Academic Honor Roll distinction. She finished her Quinnipiac career as the program's all-time leader in assists with 23, while her single-season totals from 1996, 1998, and 1999 ranked, at the time, in the top six all-time at Quinnipiac.
