A member of the 1966 and 1968 NAIA New England Championship baseball teams, Dan Ford was one of Quinnipiac’s top pitchers in the late ’60s. Ford, who also played two seasons of basketball at Quinnipiac, earned the MVP Pitcher award for the West Haven Twilight League in 1967. After graduating, Ford played five years of professional baseball at the Single-A and Double-A level. In 1972, Ford was a member of the Double-A World Series Champion Little Rock Cardinals. After several seasons of amateur ball, Ford retired at age 39.
