Chuck Schneider, the basketball team captain and MVP in 1966, is one of Quinnipiac’s all-time leading scorers. An all-conference selection all four years, Schneider was named the New Haven Tip-Off Club Small College Player of the Year in 1966. Schneider is ranked second on Quinnipiac’s all-time scoring list with 1,881 points (20.8 per game). He also ranks fourth with 764 field goals, fifth with 353 free throws and eighth with 788 rebounds.
