Bob Serenson, one of the top goaltenders in Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey history, set the season record for saves with 878 as a junior in 1986–87. Serenson, who holds three of the top five single-season saves marks, also ranks fourth with a .910 save percentage (1987– 88) and seventh with a .904 save percentage (1986–87). The ECAC South Player of the Year in 1988, Serenson was a two-time team MVP and defensive player of the year and team captain as a senior. He also led Quinnipiac to the ECAC South Finals in 1987.
