Quinnipiac junior Niamh Ashe put forth an incredible month of October, leading the Bobcats to the 2015 MAAC Championship as well as a runner-up finish at the 2015 New England Championships. Ashe highlighted her month with a 2nd place finish at the MAAC Championships, leading the way for Quinnipiac who toppled the 10-time defending conference champs Iona on the way to the program’s first ever MAAC title. She also became the first runner in program history to land an All-Conference honor in each of her first three seasons as a Bobcat. Prior to the MAAC Championships, Ashe placed 7th at the New England Championships to earn her second career All-New England honor and lead the Bobcats to the runner-up finish. Finally at the most crowded meet of the season, Ashe landed a 24th place finish out of 313 runners to lead Quinnipiac to a program record 10th place finish out of 42 teams at the Paul Short Invitational.
