Bobcats Earn BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award

NEW YORK - The Quinnipiac Field Hockey team was award the BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award as announced by the conference Thursday morning.
The Team Academic Excellence Award is based on the 2024-25 grade-point average of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster as of the last contest of the championship segment in each conference-sponsored sport.
The Bobcats had a team GPA of 3.8, the highest among BIG EAST Field Hockey programs. QU also placed 18 student-athletes on the NFHCA All-Academic Squad, announced last spring.
QU Field Hockey opens their season on the road at Holy Cross on August 29.
