Three Bobcats Named to All-MAAC Teams

Six Golfers Were Named to the All-Academic Team
HAMDEN, Conn. – Three Bobcats were named to All-MAAC teams, as announced by the league office on Wednesday, April 16th. Quinnipiac also placed six golfers on the MAAC All-Academic Team, tied for the most among all institutions in the conference. To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Reigning Rookie of the Year, Samantha Galantini was named to the All-MAAC First Team after another solid year for Quinnipiac. Galantini competed in seven tournaments combined in the Fall and Spring season and is ranked 687th nationally. Galantini's best finish this season was a third-place finish at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational hosted by the University of Delaware. Galantini had a three-round total of 213 (-3) and finished just two strokes behind the overall leader.
First-year Sophia Fujita was also named to the All-MAAC First Team after a phenomenal first season in Hamden. In her first season as a Bobcat, Fujita competed in seven tournaments in the 2024-25 campaign and is ranked 764th nationally. Fujita's best finish this season was a fifth-place finish in her first QU Classic as she recorded a score of 227 (+11).
Marisa Flores earned All-MAAC Second Team honors after her impressive first season at Quinnipiac. Flores competed in eight tournaments in her first collegiate season and had her best finish at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, recording a 15th-place finish. Flores finished that event with a three-round score of 223 (+7).
