Adinolfi, Bobcats Announce Spring 2023 Slate

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis has revealed its spring 2023 schedule, as announced by Head Coach Bryan Adinolfi on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.
The Bobcats will compete in 20 total events during the spring season. Quinnipiac opens the 2023 calendar on Thursday, Jan. 19 at Brown. Quinnipiac's first home event of the spring 2023 season is on Jan. 28, as the Bobcats play host to Merrimack at the North Haven Health & Racquet Club.
QU is set to host 11 home matches in total. The Bobcats host Merrimack (Jan. 28), Delaware (Feb. 4), Fairleigh Dickinson (Feb. 5), North Dakota (Feb. 25), Franklin Pierce (March 18), Wagner (March 19), Sacred Heart (March 21), Bryant (March 26), Mount St. Mary (April 1), Rider (April 2), and Fairfield (April 13).
The Bobcats open up MAAC play on March 4, traveling to Niagara.
The 2023 MAAC Tournament is set for April 21, April 22, and April 23 down at Mercer County Tennis Center in New Jersey.

LAST SEASON: MAAC Runner-Up
The Bobcats went 4-2 in MAAC play last year (8-12 overall), advancing to the MAAC Tournament title contest vs. Monmouth. QU defeated Siena, 4-3, in the semifinal round of the tournament. QU has advanced to the title match of the MAAC postseason tournament in three of the last eight years. The Bobcats also made it to the MAAC finals in 2014-15 and 2018-19.
Ayato Arakaki and Donovan Brown earned All-MAAC First Team status at the #2 doubles position to lead the way for the Bobcats. Shaurya Sood (#3 singles), Donovan Brown (#6 singles) and Javier Cassasolas/Shaurya Sood (#1 doubles) were all named to the All-MAAC Second Team.

Bryan Adinolfi has been announced as the new head coach of the Quinnipiac University Men's Tennis program on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Adinolfi holds over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels. Prior to Quinnipiac, Adinolfi has served as the Director of Tennis at the Madison Beach Club located in Madison, Conn. There he held oversight over all operations of the club, including coordinating events, court maintenance, organizing and running clinics, etc.
