
Women's Cross Country Places Nine on All-Academic

EDISON, N.J. — Ahead of Saturday's championship race in Loudonville, the Quinnipiac women's cross country placed nine on the MAAC All-Academic team, the league announced on Friday morning.
The full list of Bobcats selected is below, as five juniors, a senior and three graduate students earned the honors, qualifying with a cumulative 3.20 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
A total of 103 student-athletes earned the accolades across the league's 11 member institutions, with the Bobcats tied for fourth with Fairfield and Iona at nine selections. Marist led all MAAC schools with 19, while Canisius and Siena added 15. After the trio of QU, Fairfield and Iona, Niagara received eight selections, Rider added seven, Mount St. Mary's placed six, Manhattan had five and Saint Peter's rounded out the list with one honoree.
