Men's Hockey Sits Inside Top 7 in Latest National Rankings

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team comes in at No. 6 in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine national rankings and No. 7 in the DCU/USCHO poll, both announced on Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats are coming off a split in Maine over the weekend, capped by a 6-2 victory on Sunday afternoon in controlling fashion, bumping their record up to 3-1-2 on the year as they careen towards conference play in two weeks.
Minnesota stayed atop both polls, with St. Cloud State jumping up to the second spot.

Quinnipiac returns to the ice on Nov. 4, beginning ECAC play against Colgate at M&T Bank Arena before they host No. 20 Cornell a day later.
