Scouting Boston College
Boston College comes into the weekend ranked No. 17 in the nation and with a 4-5 record after a challenging schedule in 2019. The Eagles have faced five teams that were ranked in the top 25 at the time, in addition to two teams that are now nationally ranked and a Friday matchup at Virginia prior to Sunday's showdown. Margo Carlin leads the team with 10 goals and 21 points while Fusine Govaert has four goals and four assists. Goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy has been good in cage with a 4-4 record, 2.42 GAA and .591 save percentage.
All-Time vs. Boston College
The Bobcats are in search of their first-ever win against the Eagles, coming into Sunday with an 0-15 mark all-time dating back to the first matchup in 2002. Boston College won last season's game in Hamden, 7-0, in the 2018 season opener.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Amanda Funaro received recognition from the BIG EAST office for the first time in her career as she was named to the league's weekly honor roll after an outstanding weekend for the Bobcats. She logged all 120 minutes in both games with stellar defense and put home the winner in the Bobcats' shootout win at Georgetown for the first league win of the season. Funaro is one of three Bobcats to play all 560 minutes so far this season.
Shootout Winner
Quinnipiac earned its first BIG EAST win of the season in style as they beat Georgetown in a shootout at Cooper Field, 2-1. It was Quinnipiac's first shootout in six seasons since Oct. 19, 2014 back when the Bobcats fell to Bryant as members of the MAAC.
First of Many
Julianna Cappello found the back of the cage for the first time in her career with a timely goal at Georgetown as she scored in the final minute after sprinting from midfield as the extra field player when the goalkeeper was pulled. Cappello is the fourth different Bobcat to record her first career goal this season.
Perkicise
Valerie Perkins scored for the Bobcats in Sunday's loss to Columbia for her first tally of the season and now has five points thanks to three assists. Perkins has points in three of the last five games dating back to her two-assist game at Hofstra on Sept. 16. Perkins now has nine career goals and nine career assists.
The B's Knees
Bianka Strubbe assisted Perkins' goal against Columbia to set a new career-high with 10 points on the season after recording nine points in 2018. Strubbe has four goals and two assists, and has been involved helping set up or score in six of the eight goals of games she's played in.
Major Key
Brooke Whipkey tallied her first point of the 2019 season with the assist on Cappello's goal at Georgetown after her 15-point campaign in 2018. Whipkey has played in all nine games for the Bobcats this season and has yet to miss a game in her career.
A Hedda the Curve
Goalkeeper Hedda Biermann-Ratjen has started six straight games for the Bobcats dating back to Sept. 14 and has shined in her role, recording a 1.80 GAA and .745 save percentage this season to go with her 2-3 record. She ranks second in the BIG EAST with 4.75 saves per game and third with 38 saves.
Mack Attack
Mack Vorel came up big for the Bobcats as she came off the bench for the shootout at Georgetown and turned away three consecutive shots from the Hoyas to put Funaro into position to win it for the Bobcats. Vorel's win was the first of her career and she racked up 24 saves in her first three games on the Bobcats California road trip to open the season.
Main Event
Main has led the Bobcats to 199 victories over her 25 seasons after taking down Sacred Heart a week ago, putting her just one away from picking up the 200th victory of her career. All but 15 of Main's victories have come at the Division I level and she has amassed 112 of those wins in conference play. Main is looking to become the 20th active NCAA Division I Field Hockey coach to record 200 wins and the 41st all-time.
