NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Alexandra Sazhin (New Fairfield, Connecticut) led the way for Quinnipiac women's golf, shooting a 72 ( 1) in the second round of the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. The Bobcats currently sit in 8th place heading into the 3rd and final round of play Sunday with a score of 620 ( 52).

- Alexandra Sazhin (New Fairfield, Connecticut) stormed up the leaderboard with a 72 ( 1) on Saturday afternoon. The junior started the day in 54th place and ended the day jumping 27 spots to 27th on the leaderboard
- Sazhin's 72 was the lowest score for the Connecticut native since she scored a 71 in the second round of the Kiawah Island Invitational last season
- Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) continued her strong final tournament with the Bobcats, jumping up 12 spots to 30th after shooting a 75 ( 4)
- Elena Ybarra (Madrid, Spain) bounced back after yesterday's poor start to the tournament to score the Bobcats' second-best score on Saturday, a 73 ( 2). With the strong score, Ybarra rose 28 spots on the leaderboard to sit tied for 56th
- Luciana Tobia-Palza (La Paz, Bolivia) improved on Friday's score by one shot as the senior scored a 79 ( 8) in the second round of play
- Queenie Lai (Hong Kong, China) fell on the leaderboard for Quinnipiac Saturday after a strong first round Friday morning. The sophomore shot an 85 ( 14) and currently sits tied for 62nd
- Elena Lopez (Clarence, New York) competed as the Bobcats' individual golfer with a 76 ( 5). The freshman currently sits tied for 34th after climbing eight spots up on the leaderboard.
